Grieving Eucalyptus was formed in Allentown in 1992 when Kevin (guitar/vocals) paired up with Angelo through a classified ad. Angelo asked a classmate, Mindiebug, to audition for the band, and that's how it started. The band played as Grieving Eucalyptus for 6 years while forming a fan base, putting out numerous 7" releases and one full-length album on F.O.E. Records in 1996. Angelo left the band in 1999 to pursue other projects and Kevin and Mindiebug carried on as The Tumblers with Ron Herceg on drums. The Tumblers released an album in 2000 which was recorded and produced at Saturation Acres in Danville, PA.
The band officially broke up in late 2000.
All members are still active musicians.
